Roy Gene Peacock, age 66 of Opelika, was born on April 15, 1945 in Lee County and passed away at his home on January 9, 2012. He was born to the late Coy and Bennie Peacock. He loved his Lord and left here praising Him. A favorite Bible verse of Mr. Peacock was John 15:4 KJV, "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine: no more can ye, except ye abide in me." Mr. Peacock is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sue Peacock; sons, Michael (Robyn) Peacock, Ronnie (Rená) Peacock, and Greg "Crash" Peacock; grandchildren, Raegan Peacock, Kendal Peacock, Hope Peacock, and Bret Peacock.
