Merthalean "Sally" Lunceford, of Opelika, was born in Auburn on June 23, 1938, and passed away at West Georgia Health on June 24, 2015. She was 77 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; Bessie and Walter Garrett, daughter; Sherry Le Lunceford, and brother; Bud Garrett. She is survived by her children; Lawrence Lynn Lunceford (Yong), and Michael Shane Lunceford (Angie Kay), grandchildren; Pastor, Ashley "Mitch" Lunceford (Whitney), Keith Carroll (Joanna Taylor), and Adam Lunceford, great grandchildren; Jamon Lunceford, and Ellie Lunceford, and Charles Taylor, sister; Betty Ann Gunn (Tommy), brothers; Wallace Garrett (Violet), Jimmy Lee Garrett, and George Garrett (Judith).
