Sandra D. Bonney

1946-2022

Sandra D. Bonney of Auburn, Alabama was born in Cleveland, Mississippi on June 8, 1946 to

the late James M. Davis and Hazel Steed Davis. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at

Bethany House on October, 19, 2022. She was 76 years old.

Sandra was always warm, kind, and caring; the sweetest person for many people.

She was a business woman who worked in many fields and retired as the Administrative

Assistant for the Vice President of Business and Finance at Auburn University.

She was preceded by her parents, James and Hazel Davis and sister Charlotte.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Rob Bonney, her daughter Alice Nelson and son

James Bonney. Four grandchildren: Riley and Davis Nelson, Rhodes and Westley Bonney. One

brother, James Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

No services will be held at this time. Please make donations to your church or favorite charity in

Sandra's name. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
