Sandra J. King 1946-2021 Sandra J. King of Opelika was born to the late Grover and Vesta Hanna Coleman on June 28, 1946 and passed away on August 30, 2021. She was 75 years old. Sandra enjoyed the time she spent operating the hair salon at Monarch Estates. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family as well as her church family. She also loved her two dogs. Sandra is survived by her husband of 59 years, James W. "Jim" King; children, Michelle King Adams, Chris King (Mona), and Jeremy King (Faith); grandchildren, Sydney Carter (Mack), Marshall King (Alex), Claire King, and Jane Ellen King; great grandchildren, Truly and Triston; brother, Donald Coleman, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 Noon. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, September 4, 2021 in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home with Pastor Vance McCollum officiating.
