Sara Laney Thrash, of Huguley, Alabama passed away May 2, 2013 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama. She was a member at Heritage Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and a woman of great faith. Sara Laney Thrash was born on June 28, 1929 to the late Johnny and Mary Laney. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, James H. Thrash; daughter, Carol Shockley McCoy (James); son, Richard Shockley (Ann); grandson, Josh McCoy (Brandi), their son Logan, and numerous other family members.
