Sarah Grace Barnes

2001-2023

BARNES, SPC Sarah Grace, U.S. Army; "Gracie", a native of Opelika and resident of Fort Campbell, Kentucky was born August 3, 2001, and passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the age of 22.

Gracie is survived by her parents, Stacy Barnes, and Jill Robinson Barnes; sister, Molly Barnes; grandfather, Jackie Robinson; along with a host of aunts, uncles, other family members and friends. She was a 2019 graduate of Opelika High School and currently serving her country in the United States Army.

Memorial Services with Military Honors will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Highlands, Auburn East Campus, 2001 E Samford Avenue, Auburn, AL 36830. The family will receive friends briefly at the conclusion of services at the church.
