Sheldra D Tubbs

Sheldra Tubbs, 82, of Alexander City, Alabama was born in Kinston, Alabama to Shelby and Bonnie Deal on February 20, 1944 and passed away at Russell Medical Center on June 21, 2026.

Sheldra spent her career at W.S. Newell in Montgomery, Alabama as an Accounts Payable Clerk. She enjoyed reading, watching birds and playing Rummikub.

Sheldra was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ronald Tubbs and her brother, Hughlon Deal.

She is survived by her daughters, Drue Tubbs and Lezli Pregno; grandchildren, Drake Adkins and Brandon Vickers; great granddaughter, Lorelai Adkins and a host of extended family.

Graveside Service will be held Friday, June 26, 2026 at 2:00pm in the Veterans Garden of Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Home.

Frederick-Dean Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
