Stanley Webster Grimes, 74 of Auburn, was born in Coffee County, Alabama on November 23, 1938 to the late Leon and Ruby Grimes and died at home on February 9, 2013. He was Captain of security for Ampex Corporation for many years and was a past Master Mason. He was preceded in death by his brother, Carol. Mr. Grimes is survived by his wife, Peggy Smith Grimes; sons David (Denise) Grimes, Lynn (Michelle) Grimes, Mike (Carla) Grimes, and Keith Grimes; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family sincerely appreciates the care given by Katie of Vista Care Hospice.
