Sue Carol Fields 1941-2022 Sue Carol Fields of Opelika was born to the late Griff and Mary Sumner Mayberry on September 27, 1941 and passed away at her home on May 3, 2022. She was 80 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Sidney Lewis "Sonny" Fields, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Holly Fields Eaton (Blaine); son, Trey Fields (Emily); grandchildren, Sydni Roberts, Justin Roberts, Trent Fields, and Taylor Fields; sister-in-law, Betty Jean Prescott. Visitation will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home from 10:00 until 10:50 a.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Rusty Sowell officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Providence Baptist Church Building Fund.
