Tara Nanette McKemie 1972-2021 Tara Nanette McKemie of Opelika, Alabama was born in Opelika on April 26, 1972 and passed away at her home on July 11, 2021. She was 49 years old. She was a member of Chewacla Baptist Church. Tara was preceded in death by her mother and father, Nancy and Robert McKemie, as well as her grandparents. Tara is survived by her sisters, Tanya Norris, and Rhonda McKemie; nieces, Leighann Sims (Joshua), and Jessie McKemie; nephew, Justin McKemie; great niece, Amia Sims, and fur baby, Puma. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 4:30 until 5:45 p.m. Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021 in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home with Reverend Drue Tubbs officiating.
