Teresa "Tracy" Ryberg, beloved by many and known for her radiant spirit and unwavering faith, passed away peacefully February 18, 2024, at East Alabama Medical Center, following her battle with cancer. Her final journey was marked by the love and prayers of those who cherished her deeply.
She is survived by her son Carl [Betty] Ryberg, III (Auburn, AL), 2 grandchildren, Ariel [Nathan] Ryberg (Opelika, AL) and Nina Pfeiffer (Auburn, AL), Brothers; Robert [Carol] Frattalone (Hanover, MA), William Frattalone (Holbrook, MA), Dr. Thad [Fatima] Frattalone (Apple Valley, CA), Mark Talon (Boca Raton, FL), Sisters; Rosemary Gluckler (Mills, MA), Lynda [John] Krasnitski (East Hampton, CT), and many nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl H. Ryberg, Jr. (Hyannis, MA), Brother; Richard Frattalone (Grants Pass, OR), Sisters; Barbara Wyman (Dennis Port, MA), Betsy Porter (Hammond, IN), and her parents, Robert T. Frattalone and Grace E. Frattalone.
Tracy, from Cape Cod Massachusetts, found her home later in life in the Opelika-Auburn Alabama area. A master seamstress with an unparalleled passion for creativity, Tracy's nimble fingers breathed life into fabrics, transforming them into intricate works of art. Her love for sewing and her talent for quilting were evident to all who knew her, her stitches weaving stories of love, warmth, and comfort into every piece she crafted.
For many years, Tracy was the proud owner of Designing Women in Opelika, where she shared her gifts with the community, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who entered her shop. Her dedication to her craft was surpassed only by her kindness and generosity, as she often used her talents to uplift and support those around her.
Beyond her talents as a seamstress, Tracy's life was defined by her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. She found solace and strength in her relationship with Him, and her love for Jesus was a guiding light that illuminated her path and touched the lives of those she encountered. Her faith was not just a belief but a way of life, reflected in her words and her actions.
Tracy will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, creativity, and faith will continue to inspire and uplift for generations to come. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who were touched by her.
A visitation will be held at Frederick Dean Funeral Home in the Parlor located at 1801 Frederick Road, Opelika, Alabama 36830, Friday, February 23rd, 2024 from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm CST.
