Thomas "Tom" Michael Dickinson

October 26, 1943-January 6, 2023

On January 6, 2023, Thomas "Tom" Michael Dickinson passed away in his sleep at the age of 79.

Tom was born in Greenville, South Carolina to Mr Harold and Mrs Margaret Dickinson.

After graduating high school, Tom joined the Marine Corps during which time he did a tour in Vietnam.

Tom retired from the United States Postal Service after 24 years.

Tom is proceeded in death by his wife, Lennah Ozell Dickinson and his son, Carl Ellis Dickinson.

Tom is survived by his daughter, Linda Ozell Dickinson Ferrell, two sons, Tommy Dickinson, Paul Dickinson and Stepdaughter, Betty Ann Smith. Tom is, also, survived by two brothers, Gerald Lee Dickinson, Columbia, South Carolina and Richard Stephen Dickinson, Texas.

Tom leaves behind nine grandchildren and upteen great grandchildren.

Tom was a faithful, loving, hardworking and very humble man. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was very involved with his children and grandchildren and their sports activities. Tom always put others before himself.

At Tom's request, there will not be a service for him. Instead, family and friends will be received at his home on January 21, 2023 beginning at 1230 pm. Immediate family will gather at the Farmville Baptist Cemetery at 1100 am for a special moment.
