Thomas C. Mixon of Auburn, Alabama was born to the late Leon and Leona Mixon on October 1, 1942 in Lenox, Georgia and passed away at his home on October 12, 2016. He was 74 years old. Mr. Mixon will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, and Papa. He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years Josephine Meadows Mixon; brothers Bobby Mixon, and Rex Mixon. He is survived by his daughter Amy Mixon Hill (John); grandchildren Caroline Hill, Tucker Hill, and Riley Hill; brother Jackie Mixon (Faye) of Moultrie, Georgia. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Friday, October 14, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Town Creek Cemetery with Reverends Rusty Hutson, and Paul Voyles officiating. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Friday, October 14, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
