Truman Lamar "Big Foot" Dunson, of Auburn, was born in the Opelika Hospital on November 26, 1945 and passed away at EAMC on November 22, 2015. He was 69 years old. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was the best daddy, granddaddy, great granddaddy, brother, and will be missed by all who knew him. He was a professional Truck Driver and was awarded Truck Driver of the year award multiple times; he received awards from companies he worked for as well as National recognition. He loved his job and it showed in the quality of his work. He passed his strong work ethic on to his family. He was the son to the late Jasper Floyd Dunson and Helen Edwards Dunson. He was preceded in death by his younger sister, Linda Cooper. He is survived by his daughters, Denise Dunson Parrott (Charles), and Stephanie Dunson; grandchildren, Lindsey Roughton (Grady), Bryan Parrott (Andrea Mitchell), Kyndale Dunson, Alinna Parrott, and Jesi Ashworth; great grandchildren, Caiden, and Easton Roughton; brother, Ronald Dunson (Peggy), and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2015, in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Dr. Rusty Sowell officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
