Van Keith Griffin, age 56 of Valley, was born in Lee County, Alabama on September 11, 1956 and passed away in Valley on October 10, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Brenda C. Griffin; his children, Brandon (Stacey) Griffin, Stephen (Dorris) Griffin, Nicholas (Brandy) Griffin, Libby Messick, and Adam Lankford; sisters, Melaine (Gary) Herald and Carolyn Griffin; brothers, Buddy (Elizabeth) Griffin, Ray Griffin and Don Griffin; grandchildren, Trent and Emmalyn Griffin, Kengley Yarbrough, Kobe Grant, Nicholas Blake Griffin, Jr.; and niece, Ashley Cochran.
