Vickey Doler Hawkins

1951-2024

Mrs. Vickey Doler Hawkins, 72, of Auburn, AL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Murray Doler and Lillie Causey, as well as her husband O.D. Hawkins.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Hawkins of Glendale, CA; God-daughter, Ashlee Waller of Auburn, AL; God-son, Anthony Bowers of Chuckey, TN; God-daughter, Claire Griffiths of Bristol, OK; Brother, Rickey (Nancy) Doler of Opelika, AL; and many nieces and nephews.

Vickey loved her dogs, Ryder & Brodie, as well as Auburn Football and the Atlanta Braves.

Visitation will be held Saturday November 16th, 2024 in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home in Opelika, AL; Family will receive friends from 12:30pm – 1:30pm with a Graveside service following at 2:00pm at Town Creek Cemetery with Rev. Aaron Pruitt officiating; Family has requested casual attire.
