Virginia "Nikkie" Scott Smith, 28, of Lanett, Alabama was born on December 4, 1984 and passed away after a long illness on November 27, 2013, at East Alabama Medical Center. She was a former employee of McDonalds in Valley, Alabama. Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her father, Emmet Ray Scott; paternal grandparents, Alice Phelps Bingham, and Henry Buck Scott; half brother Steven Scott. She is survived by her mother, Debra "Debbie" Daily of Lanett, Alabama; step-father Wilfredo (Snake) Vazquez; maternal grandparents Richard "Dick" and Shirley Stubbs, of Brilliant, Ohio; sister Shawnna Scott of Valley, Alabama; brother Allan "Richie" Scott of Martins Ferry, Ohio; children: Justin Smith, Trinity Hope Scott, Anthony "AJ" Maddox, Jr., and Mikaila Maddox, all of Lanett, Alabama; and her fianc Anthony "Ant" Maddox, of Lanett, Alabama; She will be loved and missed by all of her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Nikkies final expense account through Frederick-Dean Funeral Home.
