Wendell Ralph Robertson

1958 - 2024

"A Great American Fisherman" was born December 17, 1958 at Lee County Hospital in Opelika, Alabama to very proud parents, Leonard Ralph and Elizabeth Ann Robertson. Wendell went home to be with his Savior on March 4, 2024 along with his daddy, Leonard Ralph Robertson; brother, Richard Wayne Robertson; grandparents, William Frank and Minnie Smith Robertson, Robert and Hattie Inez Head Gross and many uncles.

Wendell is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Ann Gross Robertson; daughter, Ashley and Farrell Crisler; dog, Blade Robertson; nieces and nephews, Timothy and Fran McDonald, Ricky and Kristy Robertson, Shaina and Tyler Scott, Jeremy and Kayla Robertson.

He is also survived by numerous great-nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, childhood friends and one special family friend of 75 years, Jessica Thornton of Tallassee, Alabama.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 5:30-7:30PM at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home in the Parlor.

A Funeral service will be at Little Texas Community Church & Tabernacle on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 2:00PM with Pastor Freddie Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Little Texas Cemetery.
