William Wilton Smith

William Wilton Smith, age 80, passed away on July 3, 2026, in Opelika, Alabama. He was born and raised in Opelika and was the son of Ed and Opal Smith of the Spring Villa community. William enjoyed drag racing and fishing, passions that brought him many happy memories throughout his life. He is survived by his brothers, Ronnie Smith and Donnie Smith, and his sister, Shirley Smith Gunn (Randy). In accordance with his wishes, no funeral or memorial services will be held. William will be remembered by those who knew and loved him.
