Willie Margie Lankford, age 72 of Opelika, was born in Chambers County, Alabama on June 16, 1939 and died at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika on October 10, 2011. She was of the Baptist faith. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Martha Vaughn. She loved working in the yard, the outdoors, and sewing. Mrs. Lankford is preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Vaughn. She is survived by her sons, Randale Lankford and Tony Lankford; daughter, Jennifer Spraggins and husband Brian; grandchildren, Shondala Abbett, Kim Easterwood, Shane Lankford, Tony Ray Lankford, Sabrina Lankford, Crystal and Amanda Spraggins; and eleven great grandchildren.
