Yvonne Delores Edwards, 61, was born on October 30, 1952 in LaGrange, Georgia to the late Hulett and Auline Fant Glover. She passed away on June 25, 2014 in Opelika, Alabama at East Alabama Medical Center. Mrs. Edwards worked for many years at Momma Goldbergs Deli until she took early retirement. She was also a long-haul trucker for many years with her husband. She is survived by her husband, William B. Edwards, Jr.; daughter, Candy LaVonne Glover; brother, Hulett Glover (Jean); grandson, Carson R. Harris and his father, Jason R. Harris. An intimate memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the home of Harry & Mary Lou Smith with Brother Billy Berry and Reverend Henry L. Dawson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Macon County Humane Society.
