Joachim Franz Eismann, 66 went home to be with the Lord, November 2, 2016. Joachim was born in Hof, Germany on September 4, 1950. His family moved to Auburn, Alabama in 1952, where he later became an American Citizen. He retired from CBT Bank in Columbus, Georgia, and was currently residing in Auburn, Alabama. He was precded in death by his father Franz Eismann; cousin Dolores Hagans Folds whom he loved like a sister; childhood friends Nicky Frizzel, Wally King, and Doug Lowe. He is survived by his mother, Waltraud Eismann; daughter, Shannon Eismann, of Auburn, Alabama; granddaughters Audrey Matthews, Elizabeth Hope; aunts Gerda Hagans, Barbara Keel Lunsford, and his cousin Kristinia Hagans Hadaway, all of Auburn, Alabama. A Memorial service will coincide with his mother Waltraud Eismann Sunday, January 15, 2017 in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home at 4:00 p.m.
