Joshua "Josh" Michael Adkins, of Beauregard, Alabama was born at East Alabama Medical Center on October 21, 1982, and passed away at his home on May 22, 2016. He was 33 years old. Josh was of the Baptist Faith and loved the Lord and his family. He was loved by all who knew him and will be truly missed. He was an easy going man. He loved to ride his Harley and was in a law enforcement motorcycle club. He was an avid Alabama Football Fan! He was preceded in death by his nephew Nathaniel Groce, and uncles Wayne Adkins and Dennis Adkins. He is survived by his wife, Amy Adkins; mother, Cathy Manning (Jimmy); father, Michael Adkins (Christine); grandparents, John M. Dawson (Martha), Sara Spriggs (James), CSM Bennie G. Adkins (Mary Nell), Jim Manning (Linda); sister, Amanda Groce (Robert); brother in law, Eric Moore (Amie); mother in law Brenda Weldon; father in law Ronnie Moore (Anne); step-sisters, Julie Kitchens and Jana Bennett (Colby); step-brothers, Jeffrey Norgard (Melaine), Jeremy Norgard (Mandy), Joseph Norgard, and Zack Manning; niece Jacie Moore, and nephew Jasen Moore. Visitation will be held at Parkway Baptist Church on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. Funeral service will be Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Parkway Baptist Church at 4:00 p.m. with Reverend John Dawson and Chief Tommy Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Parkway Baptist Church on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
